Düsseldorf went live in 2025 in DUS1, a Tier III+ building in the Innenstadt campus chosen for the same reason the Rhine-Ruhr region chose itself: the west of Germany is where the traffic actually lives. We lit ECIX Düsseldorf, signed Arelion and Cogent, and the first test instance answered our Frankfurt host at 4 ms — close enough that the rack could plausibly have been in the same city.
The site runs 0.44 Tbit/s of edge capacity at a 2 ms local median, with 3 ms to Amsterdam and 6 ms to London — the numbers of a city that sits between two exchange hubs rather than inside one. It is Germany's western artery, at the same price as Frankfurt, one grid and one IX away, for anyone whose users are in the Rhineland rather than in Hesse.

Frankfurt or Düsseldorf — which should I pick?
Four milliseconds, mostly. Frankfurt is our biggest European site — 1.6 Tbit/s on DE-CIX — and it wins whenever your users are spread across the continent. Düsseldorf carries 0.44 Tbit/s on ECIX and wins the narrower argument: users in North Rhine-Westphalia and the Netherlands, or anyone who wants a second German grid, fibre path and IX that redundancy money cannot buy in Frankfurt.
Is Düsseldorf inside the same DE-CIX region?
No, and that is the point. Düsseldorf peers on ECIX Düsseldorf, a separate fabric from Frankfurt's DE-CIX, 4 ms up the road. Your routes cross between the two exchanges in a handful of milliseconds, but a Düsseldorf server does not share Frankfurt's exchange, its metro fibre or its failure domain.

我会获得哪些 IP 地址？
每台服务器自带一个专属 IPv4 和一个可路由的 /64 IPv6 段，二者都从你选择的机房宣告。额外的 IPv4 每个每月 €1.20，每台服务器最多 8 个。
来自Germany的付款
