Jakarta, live since 2026, is in CGK1 in Kuningan, the central business district where Indonesia's economy and its internet both happen to live. We joined IIX with Arelion as our single carrier, and the first test instance answered Singapore at 11 ms — which the engineers pointed out was faster than the daily commute across the city.
The site runs 0.2 Tbit/s of edge capacity at a 5 ms local median, with 24 ms to Bangkok, 46 to Sydney and 78 to Tokyo. It is the archipelago's anchor: for the world's fourth-largest population, a domestic rack at the flat price, and for the region a node that finally sits inside the map rather than next to it.
