The one-click stack deploys Nextcloud All-in-One with its containers — database, Redis, previews, the works — configured to talk to each other. First login is over HTTPS with a certificate that just works, because TLS setup is not a personality test.

Local NVMe, so sync feels local

File sync is a latency story. The 200 GB on the Work plan is Gen4 NVMe behind RAID-10 on the host — no network filesystem hop between the PHP and the disk. Two hundred users on the free tier would be a stretch; your family of five will never feel it.

Snapshots that answer 'oops'

Two manual snapshots are free on every plan, and the backup add-on keeps four weekly or fourteen daily restore points at +10% or +20%. Ransomware's favourite attack — silently encrypting last month's copies — is exactly what versioned restore points exist to defeat.

Your files, your keys, your export path

Every file is in a plain directory you can rsync out of the building. When a provider holds your data in a proprietary format, leaving is a project; here it is a cron job. Lock-in is a feature we decline to ship.

Can Nextcloud really replace my existing cloud storage?
For files, calendars, contacts and a photo library: yes, and the sync clients are mature. For the 'it just works everywhere with zero admin' crowd it is a different covenant — you are the admin now. That is the trade, and it is why this page exists rather than a download link.
How many users can the recommended plan handle?
Nextcloud's honest bottleneck is RAM for previews and search. The Work plan's 16 GB comfortably serves a small business or a generous family; for dozens of active users, size to the Forge and keep preview generation in check. Usage always beats headcount as a sizing signal.
Is my data encrypted on the server?
At rest on the disk and in transit over TLS, with the standard Nextcloud configuration. Server-side encryption keys live on the server, so 'zero-knowledge against the host' is not a claim we make — if that is the requirement, use client-side encryption (E2E) features or pick a host whose guarantees you can audit.
Do you offer managed Nextcloud?
No — we offer the server, the stack image and engineer-answered tickets (median first response twelve minutes). The operating system patches and the Nextcloud upgrades are yours, with the console standing by for reinstalls and snapshots when an upgrade misbehaves.
