Asked in tickets, in journal comments and on every benchmark post — answered once, here, in plain language.

How can it be this cheap and still this fast?
We own the hardware, sell only long terms, and have no sales team. Oversubscription is capped at 3:1 on fair-share plans and 1:1 on dedicated cores; hosts that drift past the cap stop being sold until fixed. Cheap and fast are both policies, not accidents.
Fair-share versus dedicated — what should I expect?
Fair-share: p95 CPU steal 1.6% across the fleet, and the 3:1 cap means the noisiest neighbour you can get is still quieter than the average budget VPS. Dedicated adds 55% to the plan price and takes steal to 0.0% — the core is yours. Game servers and latency-sensitive workloads should buy dedicated; almost everything else is fine on fair-share.
How much CPU steal is normal?
Industry budget tier runs around 11.8% p95 steal — you can watch your own CPU vanish. Our fair-share fleet sits at 1.6% p95, dedicated at 0.0%. The number is published every 90 days because the alternative is discovering it in your graphs at 3 a.m.
Are backups included, or do I pay for safety?
Two manual snapshots are free on every plan, with self-service restore. Scheduled backups cost extra — weekly is +10% of the plan, daily +20% — because off-host storage is not free for us either. The restore runbook is on the help page.
Can I resize mid-term?
Yes — extra vCPUs, memory and NVMe apply within minutes and are billed proportionally for the rest of the term, once. Downscaling or moving between the seven sizes waits for renewal, and the renewal rate is never higher than the current one.
Windows, seriously?
Seriously. Windows Server 2022 and 2025 run on the same Genoa hosts with the same NVMe, licence included for €11.00 or €12.50 per month. Benchmarks within a couple of percent of Linux. Remote desktop over the VNC console works before the OS even boots, which Windows administrators will appreciate.
